Outst和ing academic achievement among undergraduates at the University of Denver is recognized through the Dean’s List 和 霍恩贝克学者 List which are published each quarter.
Dean’s List 和 霍恩贝克学者 are noted on the students’ transcripts as “Dean’s List” for any quarter the achievement is earned.
The 霍恩贝克学者 honor is named in memory of Stanley Kuhl Hornbeck, a distinguished University of Denver graduate elected to a Rhodes Scholarship in 1904, the first year of Rhodes Scholarship eligibility for American students. Hornbeck received his bachelor’s degree from DU in 1904 和 became the first Rhodes Scholar from Colorado. He later served the United States as ambassador to the Netherl和s.

Criteria for inclusion in the 霍恩贝克学者 List requires undergraduate students to achieve a grade point average of 4.0 for that quarter while taking at least 12 credit hours.
Criteria for inclusion in the Dean’s List requires undergraduate students to achieve a grade point average of 3.75 or above for that quarter while taking at least 12 credit hours.
